Andrea
Kolasinski Marcinkus is currently an Assistant Professor at Mt.
Mary College in Milwaukee, WI, where she teaches in the Fashion
Department. Marcinkus teaches several classing including knitting,
textiles, and fashion show coordination. She is pursuing her doctorate
degree in Design Studies at the University of Wisconsin. There,
she also received her M.S. in Textiles and Clothing. Her B.S. in
Textile Design was acquired at the Philadelphia College of Textiles
Science (currently known as Philadelphia University).
Marcinkus
has received numerous awards and honors for her designs, and her
work has been published in Bead Style, FiberArts, and Shuttle, Spindle,
& Dyepot magazines. Her artwork has been on display at the Milwaukee
Art Museum Gift Shops, the Gallery of Design at the University of
Wisconsin — Madison; The Market in Watertown, WI; and Espresso
Royal in Madison, WI.
